Vintage French Confit Pot

This authentic hand made pottery makes a beautiful statement in your French inspired home. Sourced from France, the mustard colored clay pots were once used across France as a way to store cooked meats. The French name 'confit' translates to 'to preserve.' The bottoms of the pots were left unglazed so they could be buried in the ground to keep the cooked food cool. Now purely decorative, you can use them to add a little rustic charm to your home.
